Obituary of a Vacuum Cleaner

Shark Lift-Away Professional White, age seven months, came forth from the box in the days surrounding Christmas, 2019. Shark quickly incorporated into the family routine and became an indispensable part of our weekly cleaning rituals.

Shark particularly enjoyed cleaning the stairs, which required the use of his beloved mini-shark stair attachment. His greatest joy and challenge came when an old dog was brought into the household in late February.

Shark completed his service on July 26th while doing what he loved. His cause of death was radical overheating caused by a clog consisting of dog hair, a children's medical mask, and an art stylus.

Shark was preceded in death by a host of other cleaning appliances and the children's doctor kit. He is survived by the dog, most of an art kit, and three children who couldn't care less. May he rest in pieces.

[And wouldn’t you know it, after being disassembled, unclogged, eulogized, and given a long cool down, Shark came back to life!]

Moral of the story: Don't write your obituary too soon. There may just be some life in you yet!
